MOWERS NEEDED IN JEFFERSON CITY & COLUMBIA!

Mower / Landscaping Laborer

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Mower / Landscaping Laborer to assist with routine lawn and landscaping maintenance. The primary responsibility will be operating a stand-on zero-turn mower , along with weed-eating and other general landscaping duties as assigned.

Essential Duties

• Operate a stand-on zero-turn mower safely and efficiently
• Mow lawns and maintain designated areas to established standards
• Operate a weed eater/string trimmer around buildings, sidewalks, fences, trees, and other areas inaccessible to mowers
• Perform general trimming and lawn maintenance
• Help maintain landscaping equipment and keep it clean and in good working condition
• Remove grass clippings, leaves, branches, and other landscaping debris
• Assist with other landscaping and grounds-maintenance tasks as assigned
• Follow all safety procedures and job-site requirements
• Work effectively as part of a landscaping crew

Qualifications

• Previous mowing or landscaping experience preferred
• Experience operating a zero-turn mower is a plus
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
• Must be comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry landscaping materials and equipment
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in heat, cold, and other weather conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive equipment operation and manual landscaping tasks

Schedule

Monday–Friday, daytime hours. Schedule may vary based on weather and landscaping needs.
