Warwick Seattle is a landmark downtown hotel located in the heart of Seattle's vibrant Belltown neighborhood, just steps from the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Seattle waterfront, Amazon's downtown campus, and many of the city's leading dining and entertainment destinations.
The 231-room, 18-story hotel combines a distinctive urban setting with full-service hotel amenities, including the on-site Margaux restaurant and lounge, indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, fitness center, business center, meeting facilities, and in-room dining.
Originally opened in 1981, the property has been an established presence in downtown Seattle hospitality for more than four decades. The hotel has maintained its distinctive identity and full-service character while serving generations of business and leisure travelers visiting the Seattle market.
The Opportunity
Warwick Seattle is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly engaged General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations and performance.
The General Manager will serve as the property's senior operational leader, responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance, team engagement, revenue growth, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Hotel Operations & Leadership
- Provide overall leadership and direction for all hotel operations.
- Establish and maintain high standards for guest service, cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel and actively engage with guests and employees.
- Lead and develop department heads and management team members.
- Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, brand requirements, applicable laws, and hotel policies.
- Monitor daily operations and ensure effective communication between all departments.
- Lead regular leadership meetings and establish clear operational priorities.
Financial Performance
- Take full ownership of the hotel's financial performance and operating results.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and operating plans.
- Monitor revenue, labor costs, departmental expenses, and overall profitability.
- Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage, and other departments to maximize hotel revenue.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining service standards.
- Review financial reports and operating metrics and take timely corrective action when necessary.
- Develop and execute strategies to control expenses while protecting the guest experience.
- Maintain accountability for departmental financial performance.
Revenue & Commercial Strategy
- Direct and work closely with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and total hotel revenue.
- Develop strategies to strengthen the hotel's competitive position in the Seattle market.
- Build relationships with corporate accounts, group business, travel partners, local businesses, and community organizations.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and changing customer expectations.
- Identify new revenue opportunities across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other hotel operations.
- Participate in sales and revenue strategy meetings and provide leadership on overall commercial objectives.
Guest Experience
- Champion a guest-first culture throughout the property.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores, online reputation, and service recovery.
- Personally engage with guests and respond effectively to high-level concerns.
- Ensure the hotel consistently delivers a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through service, amenities, and operational improvements.
- Establish strong service standards and ensure consistent execution across departments.
Food & Beverage
- Provide leadership and oversight to the hotel's food and beverage operations, including Margaux restaurant and lounge and in-room dining.
- Partner with the Food & Beverage leadership team to improve revenue, quality, service, and profitability.
- Ensure appropriate food safety, sanitation, service, and quality standards are maintained.
- Review menus, pricing, staffing, service standards, and operating results with the appropriate leadership team.
- Develop opportunities to increase local and hotel guest business.
Talent & Culture
- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing leaders and employees.
- Establish clear performance expectations and hold leadership teams accountable.
- Promote employee engagement, recognition, training, and career development.
- Maintain strong communication throughout the organization.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and professional workplace culture.
- Identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and labor practices throughout the hotel.
- Recognize employee achievements and create a positive workplace environment.
Property & Asset Management
- Work closely with Engineering and leadership teams to protect and enhance the physical asset.
- Assist in oversight of preventative maintenance, capital projects, renovations, and property improvement initiatives.
- Ensure guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and building systems are maintained to appropriate standards.
- Partner with corporate leadership on long-term property strategy and capital planning.
- Monitor the condition of the hotel and proactively address maintenance and capital needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
Community & Industry Leadership
- Represent Warwick Seattle within the Seattle hospitality and business community.
- Develop strong relationships with tourism organizations, convention and business partners, local businesses, and community stakeholders.
- Serve as a professional ambassador for the hotel and Warwick Hotels & Resorts.
- Develop relationships that generate business opportunities and strengthen the hotel's presence in the local market.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive hotel management experience , with significant experience in a General Manager or senior hotel leadership role.
- Experience managing a full-service, upscale, or lifestyle hotel strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing a hotel of comparable size and operational complexity.
- Strong understanding of hotel financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
- Proven ability to improve guest satisfaction, employee engagement, revenue performance, and profitability.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience leading department heads and developing high-performing management teams.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales, Engineering, and Finance.
- Ability to make sound business decisions while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Seattle hospitality market is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and emergency situations when required.

Compensation & Benefits
The General Manager position offers an annual salary of:
$150,000–$160,000 DOE
Salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
