Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day/night rotation Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN preferred Must-Have: - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend - Holiday requirement: Every other holiday - Floating expectation: First to float to Neuro Intermediate Care Unit - Patient ratio: 1:2 (may flex based on patient acuity) - EMR: Epic - Scrubs: Navy blue pants and solid navy blue or solid white tops. Jackets: solid navy blue or solid white. Description: The role requires BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Additional certifications such as CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN are preferred. The position involves a weekend requirement of every other weekend and holidays every other holiday. You may be required to float to the Neuro Intermediate Care Unit as needed. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:2, but can be adjusted based on patient acuity. Experience with Epic EMR is required. The dress code includes navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops. Jackets must be solid navy blue or solid white.
