Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time

Annapolis, MD
$33–$38/hour

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists while helping residents improve independence and quality of life in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, upper extremity strengthening, coordination, and balance

• Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to maximize resident outcomes

• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety strategies

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required

• New graduates are encouraged to apply
