Electrical Field Service TechnicianLocation: Austin, TX | Regional Travel Role Compensation: $35 to $85+/hour, based on experience, certifications, and technical levelWe are hiring an Electrical Field Service Technician to perform acceptance and maintenance testing on medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment across industrial, utility, and data center environments. This role is ideal for technicians with hands-on electrical testing experience who prioritize safety, technical accuracy, and high-quality field work.Technicians at varying experience levels are encouraged to apply. Candidates with strong field testing experience are welcome, even without formal certification.ScheduleFull-timeMonday to Friday travel rotation for regional projectsOvertime available based on project requirementsTravel may be required depending on project scopeCompensation$35 to $85+/hour, based on experience and certification levelPer diem approximately $127/day (based on applicable travel rates)Overtime opportunities availableWhat You'll DoIn this role, you will perform acceptance and maintenance testing on medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment in accordance with NETA standards. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and test electrical power systems including switchgear, power transformers, circuit breakers, protective relays, and protection systems.You will follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and comply with NFPA 70E safety standards while working in field environments. Depending on project requirements, you may assist with arc-flash and shock hazard evaluations.Technicians are responsible for reviewing and analyzing test results, identifying deficiencies, and preparing detailed field service reports.
