Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties to associates, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques to ensure complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching and evaluating associates. Maintains safety of facility in accordance with company policies by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and handling procedures, disposing of hazardous materials, adhering to steel‑standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Supports Sams Club e‑commerce plan by overseeing operations of programs such as Club Pick Up Ship From Club, auditing online customer feedback, resolving complaints, escalating unresolved issues, identifying trends, generating causes, and supporting management in implementing solutions. Supervises associates supporting e‑commerce programs by training, providing resources, assigning duties, giving feedback, communicating goals, and ensuring coverage at the e‑commerce pickup location. Executes the Sams Club Pickup plan by updating operations with key performance indicators, auditing orders, ensuring equipment availability, maintaining awareness of strategy, touring the club to evaluate CPU performance, training associates, and evaluating performance to improve metrics. Supports projects to improve CPU efficiencies by leveraging KPIs, modeling picking and loading, executing process improvement projects, and communicating solutions. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding on self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products. Maintains sales floor and merchandise presentation per policies by handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking, arranging displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high‑shrink items. Oversees picking and staging of club pick‑up orders to ensure correct selection and staging. Develops and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities. Supports compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity, implementing action plans, and assisting with ethical and compliance issues. Leads and participates in teams by sharing resources, determining priorities, coordinating assignments, and providing feedback to ensure deadlines and quality. Promotes a culture of belonging by embracing diversity, building strong relationships, communication with impact and positivity, mentoring others, and recognizing contributions. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
