Trucking Manager

Job TitleReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions.Responsibilities:Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects and proprietary information.Engage in a broad spectrum of projects with impact throughout the logistics process to identify, address, improve, and sustain operational effectiveness and efficiency.Establish transparency and accountability within the trucking department and with the cross-functional team members who engage in the logistics process.Being able to promote new technology and provide the expertise needed to help drive results through training and mentoring.Develop strategy for the future of the department and how it can successfully integrate into the larger goals of the company.Build logistics supply chain and manage trucking contracts, including sourcing, negotiating, and executing.Own and manage the logistics asset fleet, including forecasting needs and ensuring availability to meet business demands.Build financial plan and hold team accountable to hitting key cost targets.
