Position: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Location: Jefferson County, Beaumont, TX Schedule: 3.2 Type: 6-Week Contract - Nights - 4p-4a Stating Hourly Pay: $38.00 with per diem What You’ll Do: As an LPN in our Correctional Facility, you will play a crucial role in providing healthcare services to inmates. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the physical and mental well‑being of our inmate population. This position requires a compassionate and detail‑oriented individual who can navigate the unique challenges of healthcare delivery within a correctional setting. Requirements Current and valid LPN license in State of Assignment Prior experience in a correctional or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Conduct health screenings, assessments, and triage for incoming inmates. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulations. Educate and counsel inmates on health-related issues and self-care.
