Boar Stud Operations Team MemberZoltenko Farms, Inc., a progressive and family-owned livestock operation located near Hardy, NE, is seeking a full-time member to join our Boar Stud Operations team. This is a fast-paced and team-oriented position within a fun and family-oriented work environment.Working Conditions:Work closely with 4-5 individuals during trainings, collecting, treatments and movement of boars.Primarily indoors in moderate temps.Buildings can be noisy and dustyExcellent candidate qualities:Easily adaptable to changeAbility to organize, plan, and execute tasksPromote safe work habitsPassion for working and caring for animalsDuties may include but are not limited to:Animal handling Monitoring health of herdFeeding/watering animalsTraining of new boarsAdministration of treatments and medicationsBiosecurity/Sanitation/Maintenance Power washingBasic repairsCleaningComplying with mandatory showering and changing protocolsAdhering to other bio secure requirements.Laboratory processing (optional) Microscopy evaluationBatch processingPacking/Order distributionCleaningMeals, Health Insurance, Paid Time-Off, Free Pork provided.
