Step into a dynamic opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, serving students in diverse school environments across the scenic Oregon coast. This full-time, contract position offers a chance to make a tangible difference for young learners, delivering specialized support in both school and home health settings. You’ll enjoy an itinerant schedule, traveling between sites during the academic year and experiencing a variety of educational settings.
This assignment runs from now until June 17th, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your practice and in the coastal communities you’ll serve. You’ll focus on providing individualized occupational therapy interventions, collaborating closely with educators and families.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oregon
- Previous experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health OT preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, itinerant schedule
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with educators, parents, and students
- Comfortable adapting interventions to various environments and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students in multiple school and home settings
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress in accordance with school and district protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Travel between sites along the coast as part of your daily role
