As a Primary School Teacher, you will be teaching students in the fields of reading, language arts, mathematics, social science, general science, health, art, physical education, and music in a classroom utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Education. Develops and teaches skills and knowledge utilizing appropriate courses of study. Develops programs and instructional materials and provides individualized and group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil. Evaluates pupil progress in courses being taught, keeps appropriate records, and reports student progress. With the assistance of available professional staff, identifies pupil needs and attempts to work toward fulfillment of those needs. Performs reasonable non-teaching duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: - Strong preference for ECE credits - Pay: $41 - $51 per hour, paid weekly. Schedule: Full-time or flexible substitute options Weekly pay by direct deposit, with paper check available on request - Professional development, including in-app training, paid role-specific certifications where applicable, and additional development opportunities depending on role and location - Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local law - Medical, dental, and vision insurance available when eligibility requirements are met, which includes working more than 1,560 hours in a 12 month period. - 401(k) retirement plan with no employer match available when eligibility requirements are met, which includes working more than 1,000 hours in a 12 month period or more than 500 hours/year in a 24 month period.
