This position is focused on high-acuity transplant procedures including liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants requiring a registered nurse with proven expertise in organ implantation (not just harvesting). Schedule:

• Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts (06:45 17:15)
• On-call requirements: 1 shift per week plus (2) 12-hour weekend shifts per month (to be discussed during interview)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week with this shift structure

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license; pending licensure accepted
• Minimum 2 years of direct operating room experience with liver and transplant cases
• Demonstrable recent experience in organ implantation for liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants, clearly reflected in your skills checklist
• Proficient in using MISONIX/CUSA technology
• Certifications: Valid ACLS, BLS at submission; NIHSS required by assignment start
• Experience working with EPIC charting systems
• First-time travelers are welcome

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Anticipate, assist, and perform as the OR nurse for complex organ transplant procedures, focused on both adult and pediatric populations as needed
• Float to other OR cases within the scope of practice during low transplant caseloads
• Adhere to facility protocols, prioritize required training modules, and maintain compliance with nicotine-free and health screening policies
