Rather than simply executing requirements, this engineer actively partners with stakeholders to understand root causes, anticipate future needs, and deliver solutions that create long-term value.We value builders, innovators, critical thinkers, and owners who take pride in getting things done and delivering measurable impact.Use your skills to make an impact Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and platform configurationExperience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce solutionsStrong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, data modeling, sharing rules, governor limits, and platform best practicesExperience integrating Salesforce with internal and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, middleware, event-driven architectures, or other integration technologiesDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutionsExperience working in Agile environments and collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, administrators, architects, and engineering teamsStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate multiple solution options and make sound technical decisionsProven ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions that deliver measurable business valueExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred QualificationsMaster's DegreeWork-At-Home RequirementsTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggestedSatellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadershipAssociates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA informationWork at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
