Classified Student Support I - PE Aide 32.5 hrs/wk

Job Summary Schedule: 6.5 hours a day, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Assists in providing instruction to individuals or small groups of students, as directed by the classroom teacher. Prepares instructional materials. Performs a variety of clerical duties as assigned. Supervises students during the lunch period and other non-instructional time, as directed by the Principal. Duties may include providing lunchtime assistance to the Food Services Manager. Supervises student behavior at traffic intersections; escorts children across the street when coming and going from school; ensures student safety as they cross. Performs related work as required. Requirements / Qualifications Successful completion of Paraprofessional Competency Exam (or college units equaling AA or Bachelors Degree). First Aid/CPR Certifications. Negative TB Test.
