Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Deliver direct patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU / Step-Down) setting during night shift hours
• Utilize EPIC EMR to document and manage patient information accurately and efficiently
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• May be required to float to the Emergency Department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum of 2 years of Step-Down / PCU / IMC experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Valid Driver's License required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Comfort and flexibility with floating to the Emergency Department
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
