SDM Co. is hiring a Shop Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of heavy equipment and trucks - from Class A trucks to mining, construction, and logging machinery.
Whether you're just building your career or you've been wrenching for years, we're looking for mechanics who take pride in doing the job right and keeping machines running strong.
???? What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting using advanced tools and software.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Inspect, test, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Complete accurate documentation of parts, labor, and service notes.
- Communicate clearly with customers, foremen, and team members on job status and additional repair needs.
- Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized.

- Experience in diesel and heavy equipment repair.
- Technical proficiency with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and solve complex mechanical problems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to quality work and safety.
