Help Patients Stay Independent at Home. Flexible Schedule Independent Contractor Adult & Geriatric Patients @Home Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide home-based occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients throughout Brooklyn. This is an excellent opportunity for therapists who enjoy one-on-one patient care, flexible scheduling, and helping patients maximize independence in their own homes. What You'll Do Perform occupational therapy evaluations in the home. Assess ADLs, IADLs, upper extremity function, cognition, coordination, home safety, and functional independence. Develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily function and quality of life. Train patients and caregivers in adaptive equipment, energy conservation, fall prevention, and safe performance of everyday activities. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
