Junior Inbound Sales Representative

Job Summary/Objective The Inbound Telesales department at our Newbury Office is growing rapidly, and we are looking for fun, outgoing personalities to match the energy within the team. The Telesales Representative is responsible for representing OEC and the manufacturers we work with, taking inbound calls within an assigned territory to sell automotive parts. Key Responsibilities & Duties Handle inbound calls to sell automotive parts to trade customers, garages, and bodyshops. Build strong relationships with existing accounts and identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling. Accurately process orders, provide quotes, and advise on product availability and compatibility. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets while maintaining high service standards. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activity using CRM systems. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries, ensure timely deliveries, and support customer satisfaction. Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends. Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing insights, supporting colleagues, and embracing feedback. Experience, Skills and Key Competencies Have at least 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role, with a proven track record of building and maintaining effective customer relationships. Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Be able to effectively consult with individual customer locations, understanding current business processes, and suggesting efficiency changes. Have experience with CRM systems, call monitoring tools, and performance dashboards. Have ability to work independently and as part of a team in a target‑driven environment. Familiarity with car parts, vehicle systems, or aftermarket catalogues (e.g., TecDoc, MAM) is a plus.
