Position Overview DLS Engineering is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist for a full‑time position to support the Air Force's 638 Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA. This on‑site contract provides hands‑on technical expertise to advise and assist with logistics systems and processes. The 638 SCMG plans and executes the Air Force Supply Chain to enable weapon system employment when and where needed. It provides life‑cycle logistics support including demand/supply planning, sourcing strategies, supply execution, and engineering authority to meet customer requirements. To meet workload needs, the Government must augment its workforce with A&A support. A Day In The Life You will advise on strategic sustainment acquisition phases, lead stakeholders in implementing sourcing strategies using the eight‑step process, and conduct analyses of past, current, and future performance and spend data to select the best strategy for the portfolio. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and coordinate life‑cycle logistics support for strategic sustainment acquisition activities. Develop, publish, and update supply chain strategies and implementation plans that support supply objectives through contractual, financial, and technical aspects of the acquisition life cycle. Prepare presentations, papers, and other correspondence necessary to support logistics execution. When We’re Looking For Minimum of 8 years of Air Force Supply Chain Management experience. Active Secret Security Clearance (required). Experience supporting Air Force logistics, sustainment, or supply chain operations. Strong background in logistics planning, sustainment, supply chain analysis, requirements development, and coordination with Air Force logistics organizations. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred experience includes: AFSC/638 SCMG support Product Support Strategy Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) Depot Maintenance Provisioning DLA coordination Acquisition logistics Weapon system sustainment Other Information Competitive salary and a 401k program with company match.
