PaymentOperationsManagerPlatteValleyBank Job Summary: ResponsiblefortheoversightanddailyoperationoftheBank'spaymentsystems,includingACH,wiretransfers,digitalpayments,real-timepaymentsolutions,andothermoneymovementservices.Ensurefundsmoveefficiently,accurately,andsecurelywhilemaintainingcompliancewithapplicableregulations,networkrules,andinternalpolicies. Activelyparticipatesinpaymentoperationswhileoverseeingriskmanagement,processimprovement,vendorrelationships,andsystemenhancements.PartnershipwithTreasuryManagement,RetailBanking,InformationTechnology,Compliance,andDataOperationsteams to improve efficiencies,enhancepaymentcapabilities,andsupporttheBank'sgrowthobjectives. RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS: ManagethedailyoperationsofACH,wiretransfer,digitalpayment,andrelatedpaymentservices. Activelyparticipateinpaymentprocessing,exceptionresolution,customerescalations,andoperationalsupport. Provideguidance,training,andsupporttoPaymentOperationsstaff. Monitorservicelevels,operationalperformance,paymentvolumes,andkeyriskindicators. Maintainpaymentprocedures,controls,andbusinesscontinuityplans. EnsurecompliancewithNACHArules,wireregulations,OFACrequirements,BSA/AMLexpectations,andBankpolicies. Participateinmonitoringofpaymentactivityforfraudtrends,unusualtransactions,andoperationalrisk. Leadresolutionofcomplexpaymentissues,audits,examinations,andriskassessments. Identifyandimplementprocessimprovements,automationopportunities,andworkflowenhancements. Managepayment-relatedsystemupgrades,softwareimplementations,andvendorrelationships. CollaboratewithTreasuryManagementandbusinesslinetostsupportcustomerpaymentneedsandproductgrowth. Researchemergingpaymenttechnologiesandrecommendenhancementsthatimproveefficiency,scalability,andcustomerexperience. Preparemanagementreportsregardingpaymentactivity,risktrends,operationalperformance,andstrategicinitiatives. REQUIREMENTS: MinimumQualifications: Bachelor'sdegreeinBusiness,Finance,Accounting,InformationSystems,orrelatedfieldpreferred. Minimumfiveyearsofbankingorfinancialservicesexperienceinpaymentoperations,treasurymanagement,electronicpayments,ACH,wiretransfer,ordepositoperations. Supervisoryorteamleadexperiencepreferred. StrongknowledgeofACHprocessing,wireoperations,digitalpaymentsolutions,andpaymentriskmanagement. ThoroughunderstandingofNACHArules,RegulationE,OFACrequirements,andBSA/AMLcompliance. Demonstratedexperiencewithprocessimprovement,systemenhancements,andprojectimplementation. Stronganalytical,organizational,problemsolving,andcommunicationskills. ProficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeandbanking/paymentprocessingsystems. AccreditedACHProfessional(AAP)certificationpreferred.CandidatesnotcurrentlyholdingthethedesignationmustobtainAAPcertificationwithineighteen(18)monthsofassumingtherole. Abilitytomaintainconfidentialityandexerciseoutsanjudgmentregardingsenstiveoperationalinformation. PhysicalRequirements: LightWork-exertingupto20poundsofforceoccasionally,and/upto10poundsofforcefrequently,and/oranegligibleamountofforceconstantlytomoveobjects.Reaching,fingering,grasping,repetitivemotions,stooping,crouching,standing,walking,lifting,climbing,kneeling,talking,hearing,pulling,pushing,thinking,concentratingandinteractingwithothers.
