Apartment Maintenance Technician

Pay: $23.00 per hour

BG Staffing is actively seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to support a residential community in Falls Church, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering quality maintenance services and ensuring a safe, well-maintained living environment for residents.

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall condition, functionality, and safety of the property. You will be responsible for completing service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with unit turnovers to support efficient leasing operations.

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance throughout the property
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
• Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Maintain common areas and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
• Communicate effectively with residents, property management, and team members

• Previous apartment maintenance or related experience preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs
• Ability to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as required
