Neurophysiologist Regional Traveler (Southeast)

NuVasive Clinical Services seeks a Neurophysiologist to provide intraoperative neuromonitoring services across the Southeast region. This 100% travel position involves monitoring patients' nervous systems during surgery, collaborating with surgical teams, and maintaining IOM equipment.

Responsibilities

Obtain patient medical history and consult with surgeons regarding nervous system structures and monitoring modalities
Communicate real-time monitoring information to surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
Display, label, and analyze waveforms for latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times per established protocols
Complete documentation, prepare IOM logs, and upload files in timely manner
Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and perform required maintenance checks

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus minimum 2 years related experience, or advanced degree without experience
Current CNIM (Certified Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring) certification
Knowledge of IONM, human anatomy and physiology, or technical troubleshooting
Operating room experience preferred
Valid driver's license and personal transportation for medical equipment
Ability to travel up to 100% throughout Southeast region (FL, GA, AL, TN, MS, NC, SC, KY)
Physical capability to transport and set up 50-pound equipment, stand extended periods, and wear protective equipment
