Mortgage Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Mortgage Finance Associate to join its team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in securitization, warehouse financing, and structured finance transactions, with a preference for experience in residential mortgage loans or other consumer assets. Duties Participate in securitization and structured finance transactions. Advise clients on warehouse financing matters. Collaborate with team members on complex legal issues. Draft and review legal documents related to finance transactions. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience. Experience in securitization and structured finance. Familiarity with residential mortgage loans preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
