Job Description A well-established nonprofit community health system in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist to join its hospital-based urology team. This is a permanent, weekday-only opportunity offering excellent work-life balance with no call and no weekend requirements . Position Overview Urology Physician (MD/DO) Location: Pittsfield, MA Full-Time | Permanent Day Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (variable) No call required No weekends required Competitive compensation (open to discuss; salary expectations may be submitted) Key Responsibilities As a Urologist, you will: Provide comprehensive general urology care to adult inpatients Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of urologic conditions Participate in inpatient rounding and collaborative treatment planning Support hospital-based urology procedures and peri-operative care Utilize onsite lab and imaging services for diagnostics Collaborate with a team of 5 experienced urologists and multidisciplinary staff Ensure continuity of care within the hospital-based practice Document all patient encounters using Meditech EMR Adhere to established clinical protocols and quality standards ✅ Qualifications Board Certified in Urology – Required (no exceptions) Relevant inpatient general urology experience – Required Active Massachusetts medical license – Required Active BLS certification – Required Clean malpractice and license history – Highly preferred Most recent NPDB Self Query (within 30 days) – Required at presentation Permanent employment availability required Compensation & Highlights Competitive salary based on training and experience Stable weekday schedule with excellent work-life balance No call, no weekends Established hospital-based group of 5 urologists Full ancillary and diagnostic support Long-term opportunity within a respected nonprofit health system Strong administrative and credentialing support Modern hospital facilities and integrated care environment Why Pittsfield, MA?
