Job Opportunity: Nephrologist
Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-certified or eligible Nephrologist to become a part of our vibrant and collaborative team of ten specialists in the field. This position is entirely focused on Nephrology, providing a unique chance to engage in Academic Nephrology while caring for a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general nephrology services across various settings, including inpatient consultations, outpatient hemodialysis, general nephrology clinics, and peritoneal dialysis clinics.
- Engage in specialty clinics to address specific patient needs.
- Receive training in Therapeutic Apheresis and participate in the care of patients requiring this treatment.
- Contribute to scholarly activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and nephrology fellows, as well as conducting clinical research.
- Explore academic opportunities within the Department of Medicine, including teaching and research initiatives.
- Provide care to underserved communities through partnerships with local health systems and clinics.
- Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
- Commitment to academic excellence and patient care.
- Willingness to engage in teaching and research activities.
This role involves a mix of clinical responsibilities in various healthcare settings, allowing for a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base salary for this position ranges from $265,000 to $295,000, depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which are determined by departmental compensation plans. Detailed discussions regarding compensation will occur during the recruitment process.
