Controls Project Engineer

Overview This Controls Project Engineer role is aimed at someone deeply involved in custom automation for 7+ years who can own a project from controls design through debug, startup, commissioning, and support. The ideal candidate is a senior controls engineer with strong PLC and HMI programming experience, solid electrical controls design skills, AutoCAD experience, and a background in automated assembly equipment or factory automation. Allen-Bradley is preferred; Siemens is a plus. Responsibilities Own and drive projects from controls design through debug, startup, commissioning, and ongoing support. Qualifications 7+ years of deep involvement in custom automation and controls projects. Senior controls engineer with strong PLC and HMI programming experience. Solid electrical controls design skills and AutoCAD experience. Background in automated assembly equipment or factory automation. PLC languages: ladder logic preferred; structured text, function block, sequential function chart, and Visual Basic experience. Experience with Allen-Bradley is preferred; Siemens is a plus.
