Occupational Therapy Assistant

Encompass Health is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant for our day shift inpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll implement treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic conditions, and other serious illnesses regain function and independence. Responsibilities include assisting with evaluations, providing therapeutic exercises and ADL training, documenting progress, and educating patients and families. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment that supports continuous learning and professional growth.
