Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration TechnicianShift: FirstIf you have industrial ammonia refrigeration experience and enjoy hands-on maintenance in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great opportunity. In this role, you'll help keep our refrigeration systems, facility equipment, and warehouse operations running safely and efficiently while working alongside an experienced maintenance team.What You'll DoPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.Troubleshoot and maintain compressors, pumps, valves, evaporators, condensers, and other refrigeration equipment.Maintain and repair electrical systems, motors, controls, and production equipment.Perform general facility maintenance, including plumbing, mechanical systems, and building repairs.Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.Complete preventative maintenance schedules and document work in our CMMS system.Communicate equipment issues and recommend improvements to help minimize downtime.Follow all safety, PSM, and company procedures while working around ammonia refrigeration systems.Partner with contractors and vendors when needed to support maintenance projects.What We're Looking For3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse, or similar environments.1-2 years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience (or equivalent trade school training).Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to read equipment diagrams (P&IDs are a plus).Experience using a CMMS for work orders and preventative maintenance is preferred.Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety.Preferred QualificationsRETA Operator I, CARO, or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain within the first six months).Experience working in food production, cold storage, or refrigerated warehouse environments.Work EnvironmentWork in both refrigerated and ambient warehouse environments, with temperatures ranging from -20°F to 100°F depending on the area.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Flexible to support overtime, on-call, or weekend work as needed.Comfortable working around industrial equipment and varying noise levels.Why This Role?This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ammonia refrigeration experience who wants to continue growing their technical skills while working on complex refrigeration systems in a safety-focused environment.
