OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, a designated Level I trauma center in Rockford, IL, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join its fast-paced practice. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical cases. The position offers the opportunity to work with outstanding surgeons and support staff in a nonprofit Catholic hospital dedicated to serving its community. Practice Info Designated Level I trauma center Nonprofit Catholic hospital Fast-paced environment with great support staff and surgeons Case assignments include Ortho, general, urology, plastics, hearts, neuro, and more Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtain and/or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $500,000 annually Sign-on bonus: $100,000 Benefits Generous benefits package, including: Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts / Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Work 26 weeks per year with FT compensation and benefits Requirements M.D./D.O.
