40 Work Shift Job Description This full-time faculty position includes comprehensive adult audiologic care across outpatient and inpatient settings. The Audiologist will primarily practice in our downtown Charleston location with responsibilities at one satellite clinic.’ Clinical Responsibilities include: - Comprehensive vestibular assessment including but not limited to VNG, Rotary Chair, Posturography, VEMP, vHIT
- Comprehensive diagnostic audiologic evaluations
- Amplification selection, fitting, and management
- Osseointegrated device evaluation and programming
- Inpatient and outpatient diagnostic testing in coordination with ENT physicians MUSC Audiology Clinical Services Include:
- Behavioral audiometric assessments for all ages
- Acoustic immittance
- Site-of-lesion and threshold ABR
- TEOAE/DPOAE
- Comprehensive vestibular testing (VNG, Rotary Chair, Posturography, VEMP, vHIT)
- Hearing aids

As a faculty member within an academic medical center, the Audiologist will:
Supervise 4th-year Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) students
Provide instruction to Otolaryngology residents and interns
Deliver lectures to residents and house staff as assigned

Contribute to or collaborate in ongoing clinical research

- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A)
- South Carolina Audiology Licensure (or eligibility)
