Forklift Operator

GENERAL PURPOSE
Perform various warehouse and inventory related tasks. Receive, process, store, move, and distribute items (products, materials, ingredients, equipment, supplies, etc.) within a warehouse or cooler/refrigerated environment. Unload and load trucks, truck trailers, cases, pallets, stacks, etc. Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or electric hand truck. Record received and shipped items. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Work within clearly defined processes and tasks. Interpersonal: Good work ethics (sense of proud) Dependable Win /Win attitude Coachable (willingness to learn, take direction and grow) Respectful to others Flexible with change Teamwork: Work within a group setting Willingness to help others Quality: Understand appearance of work Follow good work practices and procedures Safety Comply to all food safety and human safety rules Help develop a safety culture Customer Service Internal – working with other warehouse workers, drivers, admin team, management External – support production (off-site), other warehouse support, and store support PAY: $21.50/ hour Hours: First shift (4am – 12:30pm) Split shift (7:30 am – 4pm) Second shift (3pm – 11:30pm) Qualifications Experience/ Certification/ Requirements: 2 years of working in a warehouse environment- year of working in extreme cold environment ( -20 degrees for up to 2 hours at a time preferred)
