Associate, Social Work & Marriage Family Therapy

Job Overview The Associate, Social Work & Marriage Family Therapist is responsible for providing clinical services across the life span. The Therapist applies psychological/counseling principles in assessment, clinical interventions, research, training, case management, and consultation. The Therapist follows a hybrid model, offering therapy across various locations—clinics, schools, and other programs—both in-person and virtually. The Therapist’s responsibilities include diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning. The Therapist provides individual, group, child, and family therapy focused on short-term problem-solving therapy, short-term cognitive behavioral therapy, brief psychodynamic therapy, crisis intervention, coping skills, substance abuse treatment, behavior modification, case consultations and other evidence-based practices. The Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary team with internal and external partners and collaborates with patients and families to define treatment goals, using evidence-based outcome measures. The Therapist may also be involved in research studies or multidisciplinary projects. Minimum Requirements Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university certified by the CSWE, MFT-ACFTE, or a recognized accrediting agency. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish or English and another predominant language of the population served, preferred. Valid BLS certification or higher. Direct experience with short-term problem-solving treatment (MHIP), cognitive-behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, brief psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, group therapy, child therapy, substance abuse treatment, and behavior modification. Compensation Salary range: $68,640.00 – $85,800.00 annually.
