Job Description The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational health of the organization — overseeing internal processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and vendors, and ensuring programs and services are delivered efficiently and on schedule. This role suits a process-minded leader who can translate strategy into reliable execution. Key responsibilities: Oversee daily operations across departments, ensuring workflows are efficient, documented, and consistently followed Develop, monitor, and refine operational policies, procedures, and performance metrics Manage operational budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities Coordinate procurement, vendor relationships, and service contracts Lead, mentor, and evaluate operational and administrative staff Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards Prepare operational reports and present performance data to senior leadership Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous-improvement initiatives Support strategic planning and execute organizational initiatives on time and within budget Coordinate facilities, logistics, and resource allocation Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Administration 3+ years of experience in operations, administration, or program management (5+ preferred) Demonstrated experience managing budgets, staff, and cross-functional processes Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with office and project-management software Preferred: 5+ years of experience in operations or program management Experience in a nonprofit, government, or public-sector environment Familiarity with grant management or public funding compliance Process-improvement or project-management certification (Lean, Six Sigma, PMP) 401(k) with employer match Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays) Professional development funding and opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
