PT Athletic Trainer Instructor Foothill-De Anza Community College District – District, CA. Job Type: Part‑Time Faculty. Salary: See Position Description. Closing: Continuous. Duties and Responsibilities Perform standard duties expected of part‑time faculty, including instruction, counseling, librarian duties as assigned; evaluate and assess student work; submit grades timely; participate in assessment of performance. Teach athletic training courses and serve as a trainer for intercollegiate and pre‑season team sports. Working Conditions Environment Indoor, office environment. Physical Abilities Hearing and speaking to exchange information. Vision sufficient to read various materials. Dexterity of hands and fingers to perform tasks. Regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Bending at waist, kneeling, or crouching. Reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally. Lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs. Minimum Qualifications Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty, and staff.
