Interventional Cardiac/Electrophysiology (EP) Cath Lab Nurse

Job Overview

The Interventional Cardiac/EP Cath Lab Nurse plays a vital role in providing specialized nursing care within a 24/7 Cardiac and Electrophysiology lab environment. This position involves indepth knowledge of advanced cardiovascular technologies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in various interventional procedures including balloon pump, Impella, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Inari, and Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR).
• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and formulate appropriate nursing care plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation through Epic Cupid.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cardiac care.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience in a similar role or related field highly preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires dedication with an expected schedule of 11-12 days over a 6-week period, involving various shifts within the 24/7 operational framework of the lab.
