Location: Addison, TX | 100% ON-SITE

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Compensation: $18.00/hr

The Warehouse Material Handler is a dual-focus role requiring physical material handling expertise and high-volume, precision data entry.

Core Responsibilities

• System Integrity: Perform heavy data entry for all shipping, receiving, and internal stock transfers; ensure 100% accuracy in SKU, serial number, and quantity recording.
• Inventory Reconciliation: Lead weekly cycle counts and perform physical vs. perpetual inventory audits to resolve discrepancies immediately.
• Project Staging: Pull and stage specific inventory for installation projects, utilizing scanners to log serial numbers into project-specific spreadsheets and job folders.
• Documentation: Maintain the digital and physical "paper trail" for RMAs, returns, and DOA equipment, ensuring all statuses are updated in real-time for Project Managers.
• Procurement Support: Track open POs and provide real-time ETAs to the operations team to ensure project timelines are met.

Material Handling & Logistics

• Shipping/Receiving: Manage the physical loading, unloading, and packaging of all inbound and outbound freight.
• Carrier Management: Utilize UPS manifest systems and couriers; determine the most cost-effective shipping methods by comparing carrier rates and schedules.
• Freight Negotiation: Interface with vendors and carriers to negotiate transportation contracts and minimize logistical overhead.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, and power tools to move heavy materials and organize high-density storage areas.

Fleet & Facility Oversight

• Fleet Maintenance: Manage the fleet log, ensuring all company vehicles are stocked with the necessary tools, maintained for safety, and scheduled for routine service.
• Facility Standards: Maintain a "tour-ready" warehouse environmentclean, organized, and free of debris.
• Security: Responsible for the secure storage of high-value miscellaneous materials and specialized tools.

Qualifications

Technical Skills & Experience

• Data Mastery: Superior data entry speed and accuracy are non-negotiable. Experience with QuickBooks or ERP systems is ideal.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a technology or electronics-focused warehouse is highly preferred.
• Software Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (sorting, basic formulas, and data organization) and Outlook.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced logistics or inventory-heavy environment.

Physical & Certifications

• Machinery: Must hold a valid forklift certification (or have the ability to obtain one immediately).
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and spend the majority of the day on your feet.

Soft Skills

• Proactive Problem Solver: Ability to spot a discrepancy in a shipment and trace the error back to the source.
• Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication for interfacing with Project Managers and external vendors.
• Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between a desk/computer environment and a physical warehouse floor multiple times a day.
