Phlebotomist Float w/ Testing
Labcorp
Float phlebotomist position at PAML (Labcorp) in Salem, Oregon, performing blood collections across multiple sites. Role includes specimen handling, CLIA-moderate complexity testing, patient data entry, and customer service with flexible Monday-Friday hours plus occasional Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and similar analyses
- Conduct moderately complex CLIA-defined testing procedures
- Enter patient information, process billing data, and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Travel to additional collection sites as needed to support float coverage
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with clean driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred
- 6+ months current or prior Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred
