Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse position available in Hilo, Hawaii. This role involves caring for patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery following surgery, requiring advanced knowledge of anesthesiology and critical care skills. Candidates must bring their Hawaii professional license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Hilo, Hawaii
• Shift: Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours with days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; on-call shifts 0-3 times per month (8-hour nights and 24-hour weekends/holidays).
• Required Qualifications: Valid professional license within the state of practice, Hawaii license by start of assignment; 2+ years experience as a critical care registered nurse (i.e., ER & ICU) in a hospital setting, or an acceptable substitute; current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association; ability to arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment; flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start date.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) credential from the American Heart Association is recommended and may be required; other specialty certifications such as NIHSS and TNCC are preferred or may be required.
• Additional Information: On-call shifts may occur 0-3 times per month, including nights and weekends/holidays. Candidates must be available to start on or before July 20, 2026.
