Licensed health professionals may qualify for Washington State Health Professional Loan Repayment and NHSC scholarship or loan repayment programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide individual and group behavioral health counseling using evidence‑based practices and brief intervention models. Consult with primary care providers for behavioral health staffing and services. Collect psycho‑social data and provide information to clinical teams to support integrated care. Conduct mental health evaluations with approved tools to determine treatment and level of care. Develop detailed care plans and document them in the electronic health record. Link clients to community resources. Provide in‑service training to NEW Health staff as requested. Participate in community outreach activities. If licensed in chemical dependency: assess clients for drug and alcohol treatment, provide individual and group counseling focused on relapse prevention, and coordinate referrals. If trained in clinical supervision: supervise volunteers and students, facilitate peer review and chart audits. Travel for clinical duties may be required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid state licensure as Licensed Advanced Social Worker, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Professional Counselor. Two years of clinical practice with underserved populations preferred. Knowledge of community linkage resources. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong commitment to a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment. Computer skills and independent judgment in clinical decision‑making. Valid driver’s license and insurance required. Physical Demands Movement around the facility 33–66% of the day; sitting at a workstation or in patient rooms. Use of hands and arms >33% of the day. Lifting up to 10 lbs. occasionally.
