Position: Software Engineer 4 - Contingent Location: Des Moines, Iowa, Irving TX & MN Duration: Contract (18 months) Job ID: 178550 Pay range: 65-70$ Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading large-scale production support using ITIL practices, supporting AI/ML and LLM-based systems, and managing reliability, observability, incident response, and operational risk. This role requires expertise across on-prem, hybrid, and public cloud environments, as well as proficiency in CI/CD tools, automation, and resilient system design. The candidate will also provide support for large-scale Java/.NET applications and Oracle/MSSQL databases. Responsibilities: Lead large-scale production support using ITIL practices. Support AI/ML and LLM-based systems, ensuring reliability and operational efficiency. Manage observability, incident response, and operational risk across diverse environments. Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, UDeploy, and Terraform. Implement automation using tools like Ansible. Leverage observability platforms including AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, BigPanda, and Application Insights. Design resilient systems to ensure high availability and performance. Provide support for large-scale Java/.NET applications and Oracle/MSSQL databases. Qualifications: Proven experience in ITIL practices for large-scale production support. Expertise in supporting AI/ML and LLM-based systems. Strong knowledge of on-prem, hybrid, and public cloud environments. Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, UDeploy, and Terraform. Experience with automation tools like Ansible. Familiarity with observability platforms such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, BigPanda, and Application Insights. Ability to design and implement resilient systems.
