What You'll Do

• Perform and process portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) X-ray examinations at various facilities.
• Ensure images are diagnostically adequate and transmit to radiologists for interpretation.
• Conduct EKGs, prepare patients, and transmit results to cardiologists as needed.
• Operate portable X-ray equipment safely, including movement and positioning in confined or unconventional environments.
• Manage exam paperwork, billing documents, and maintain communication with dispatch and facility staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of portable X-ray and vehicle equipment.
• Prioritize and organize travel routes efficiently between multiple facilities.

What You Need

• North Carolina Limited Licensed Radiology Technologist license
• CPR/BLS certification
• 2+ years mobile X-ray experience in nursing homes or urgent care settings
• Proficiency in patient positioning, radiography techniques, and safety protocols
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate portable X-ray equipment safely in various environments

• Experience with portable equipment in field settings
• Knowledge of radiographic and administrative workflows beyond limited scope
• Strong organizational and independent communication skills
