Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts with shared call for night shift and weekends, generally including on-call one weekend per month. Further details will be discussed during the interview.

Job Description

We are seeking a certified Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to ensure accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laboratory procedures and tests.
• Conduct phlebotomy and arterial blood gas draws.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results and maintain quality control measures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the preparation of laboratory reports and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
• Strong skills in general lab procedures, phlebotomy, and arterial blood gas sampling.
