Interventional Radiologic Technologist- $25,000 Sign on Bonus

Job Description Summary The role includes the following specialties: Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist : assistant to Interventional Cardiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. Requires knowledge of X‑ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique. Arrhythmia (EP) Radiologic Technologist : assistant to Electrophysiologist for non‑invasive and invasive procedures. Requires knowledge of X‑ray equipment, arrhythmia monitoring, cardiac structures, anatomy of heart chambers, and sterile technique. Vascular Interventional (VIR) Radiologic Technologist : assistant to Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image‑guided vascular procedures. Requires knowledge of fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound and related imaging equipment. Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist : assistant to Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Requires knowledge of X‑ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral angiogram coiling, AV malformations, stroke interventions, and sterile technique. Responsibilities and Duties 85% – Assist the Interventionalist in the specific area described above. 10% – Greeting patients, checking charts for required data, reporting absences or abnormalities, explaining procedures, answering patient questions, participating in room turnover and transporting patients. 5% – Assist the Radiation Safety Officer with QA of labs and radiation protection apparel. Perform tasks following radiation safety principles, check lead aprons, report findings, maintain records with Radiology department. Minimum Qualifications ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Association) ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists BLS – Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) Licensure in the State of Ohio (LIC) Additional Job Details Sign‑On Bonus: Eligible candidates may receive a $15,000 sign‑on bonus with a one‑year work commitment. Candidates who have been absent from the organization for more than 90 days may also be eligible. Work Shift: Full‑time day shift, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday (four 10‑hour shifts per week). On‑call Coverage: Mandatory with a required response time of 30 minutes. Department: Heart & Vascular – Interventional Lab. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours. Specialized Knowledge State of Ohio radiologic licensure, ARRT registration.
