This role focuses on clinical oversight, final prescription verification, laboratory review, documentation, sterile compounding support, and patient care activities. The ideal candidate will have strong home infusion experience and a thorough understanding of clean room procedures and sterile compounding practices. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform final pharmacist verification and clinical review of medications. Review laboratory results and ensure appropriate medication therapy management. Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation. Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage requirements. Support sterile compounding operations and ensure adherence to established procedures and safety standards. Compound medications for internal and external use as needed. Prepare sterile solutions and verify accuracy and quality. Monitor medication compliance and identify potential drug-related concerns. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff. Manage pharmaceutical inventory and maintain adequate medication and supply levels. Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards. PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS: Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. Active Pharmacist license in good standing. Home infusion experience required. Strong clean room knowledge and sterile compounding experience. Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
