Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Staff RN – Medical Surgical

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 7 PM - 7:15 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• 2+ Years of Med Surg Experience
• Med/Surg Observation Experience
• Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (Med Surg)
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms Completed within the last two years
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Active Michigan Nursing License

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established policies and procedures.
• Develop and document plans of care based on patient assessments.
• Implement plans of care and maintain accurate documentation.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and update plans as necessary.
• Oversee the delegation of patient care tasks to unit staff.
• Provide support for various patient populations, including oncology, observation, hospice, and medical surgical patients.
