The roleInstall, maintain, and repair drones and their docking and charging stations at customer sites.
What you will do- Diagnose faults in drones, docks, and charging systems.
- Repair or replace propellers, motors, electronic speed controllers, batteries, gimbals, and cameras.
- Update firmware and calibrate equipment.
- Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections.
- Follow lithium battery procedures for storage, charging, transport, and disposal.
- Record faults, repairs, replacement parts, and follow-up work.
- Keep spare parts available and report recurring problems.
- Explain repairs and next steps to customers.
- Experience with electronics repair, RC or FPV drone building, avionics, low-voltage systems, or similar hands-on work.
- Patience with small parts and precise repairs.
- A methodical approach to finding faults.
- Accurate records and clear communication.
- Comfort working independently at customer sites.
- Availability to drive, work outdoors, and travel overnight occasionally.
You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in-person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. Training and certifications are free for selected candidates. Your first job is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
