About the Role:

Join DECOSTOLE CARTING INC as a Tractor Trailer Driver and be part of a dynamic team in Brooklyn, NY! We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service while driving safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Operate tractor trailers to transport waste and recycling materials to designated locations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules and issues.

Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.

Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck and equipment.

Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe driving and customer service.

Requirements:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience driving tractor trailers with walking floor trailers.

Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.

Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

License must be clean and will undergo insurance review.

Ability to handle physical demands of job, including loading and unloading materials.
