Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Bettendorf, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse in the Midwest region. This position involves providing specialized care within the recovery unit, contributing to patient stabilization post-surgery or procedure. The role requires flexibility to float across local campuses and adherence to established clinical protocols. Job Details: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid Iowa license, ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), and PALS (American Heart Association) certifications are required. A Drivers License and a minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a PACU setting are necessary. Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Information: The candidate must have Epic electronic medical record experience and have completed a skills checklist within the past year. Must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on drivers license. Candidates will work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) and may be required to work on call one night a week and every 5th weekend. Submission requirements include a work history/resume, verification of licenses and certifications, references (including one supervisory), and proof of required certifications. The position is scheduled to start on 09/21/2026 and end on 12/21/2026, with orientation scheduled for 09/21/2026 and 10/05/2026.
