COTA - Travel Contract

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role in Hayward, CA at a skilled nursing facility. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active California COTA license is required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with ADL retraining, therapeutic modalities, and mobility/transfer training preferred.
Assignment Details
Shift type: Flex Shifts; schedule varies. Guaranteed 30 hours to start. Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
