Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create tailored therapeutic strategies that help them reach their functional aspirations.
  • Conduct Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions aimed at enhancing motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide training to patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to support continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
  • Monitor and Record Progress: Document clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary to ensure patients achieve their goals.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Opportunities for continuing education and advanced certifications encouraged and supported.
Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
